“This is a must see tour of Tuscany”

"We signed up the the Best of Tuscany tour before we left on our trip to Italy. Art Viva had the best ratings, so we decided on them. This was a great decision. Our tour guide Stephan was not only informative, but highly entertaining. This was the best day tour my wife and I have ever been on! Tuscany is so beautiful that even photos can't do it justice.

Make sure you bring a camera with lots of memory and batteries because there is a scene you will want to capture around every corner.

Don't be put off by the price because this tour is worth every cent you pay."

Worth every cent with the best English speaking tour guide”

The Original and Best Walking Tours

"The tour to the Tuscany vineyards and historical villages tour was amazing because of the small number of people in the group (I hate large groups) . I found the tour guide , Dougie, very entertaining, informative and could speak fluent English which is a bonus for me as a lot of other tour companies I have found it very hard to understand them.
Considering my friend and I were going to hire a car and do the trip ourselves it was so much more relaxing being driven around with our very competent bus driver in the air conditioned van. I had one of the best days of my holiday on this tour and would recommend this tour to anyone."

Trip Advisor Review - Truly, the best "Best of Tuscany" tour around!"

Of the 5 tours (with other companies) we took while in Italy, the Best of Tuscany with Artviva was by far the best.

There were only 4 of us on the tour: my husband and I and a honeymoon couple. The transportation was comfortable in the 100 degree weather.

Our guide Douglas was charming, knowledgeable and most important easy to understand, with an impeccable understanding of the English language. (Sometime the Italian accent can get in the way, but I guess Douglas being Italian from Brazil might have had something to do with that ;-) )

The 3 stops on the tour were wonderful. Douglas gave us the information we needed while on the bus and left us to explore on our own the towns of San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, and Siena.

And the lunch at the winery was superb. Would have been happy to spend the rest of the day there. There was no pressure to buy which I found very evident on other tours we took.

All in all our best tour experience while in Italy.

Would recommend to all.

"Uffizi Tour and Best of Tuscany- Both Excellent -Money well spent!" - Read the latest TripAdvisor ArtViva Review!

TripAdvisor Review from August 18, 2009:

"I spent a few days in Florence on my first visit (not my last!) and took two Artviva tours. I usually hate tours, but I had so little time, I thought I would start off with a museum walking tour in order to get a good background and orient myself.

My guide was Sylvia for the Uffizi gallery tour, and she was just really fantastic. I felt that she was so enthusiastic, warm, and especially intelligent and knowledgeable, she gave no ordinary tour.

Her personal attention and interest in every member of the small group was very appreciated. Usually you see tourists herded around blankly, like cattle, until they don't seem to care at all about what the guide is droning on about.

I was really thrilled with the experience. It was just the right length, and I left feeling I had gained something unique, while making me want to see and learn more about Florence and Tuscany.

So, I decided to chance another day with Artviva and do the "Best of Tuscany" tour and had another memorable time with a small group-eight of us .

Stefan was our guide. He is an absolute gem. His spirit, passion, sense of humor, and knowledge (not to mention his funny trivia games) really made it for me.

The day was spent in lighthearted conversation, everyone felt taken care of, as if we were already all old friends (instead of the strangers we really were), learning a great a deal, laughing a lot, having a glorious time. Stefan gave the absolute best restaurant recommendation, and it made my last evening in Florence one I won't soon forget ( I ended up going out with some folks I had met that day on the tour itself).

Both of the guides I had genuinely loved what they were doing, and you have to commend a company who employs and allows these good people to flourish.

Please keep up the excellent work Artviva. I will be recommending this company to friends and family."
